Objects and Attackable Features

Some missions make use of objects.  An object can be anything and will be defined in the mission briefing.  Generally, an object is something that can be carried by the Marines.  They can be passed on to other Marine units, if the mission briefing allows, but all other characteristics will be mission specific.

Tyranids do not usually interact with objects but again, this is all defined by the mission briefing.

Attackable Features

Attackable features can be attacked in close assault by valid units and/or weapons. They will have a Strength value which can be represented by placing a dice (of that many sides) on top of the feature.

To attack the feature, a valid unit must have the feature in its Close Assault Zone and spend APs (or CPs). Each AP spent will lower the strength by a certain amount, as specified in the features description.

Rubble Blockades are Attackable features and will have these details shown in the Rubble Blockade section. Other Attackable features will have the details in a mission briefing.

For example – A Broodlord may be able to deal 2 damage per AP spent. This means the Broodlord can spend 6APs to destroy an Attackable feature that has a Strength of 12.
