Malfunctioning Power Outlets will sometimes erupt into a localised dance of electrical branches and pulses, generated from a power surge overload. These are bad news for any unit standing on them at the time they erupt. Marine units have the additional problem of wearing metallic armour and are therefore prone to attracting the beams of electricity. Usually the beams will pass over them harmlessly, if not a little frightening, but there is a danger they will be fatally hit.
When a Power Outlet suffers an electrical outburst, place an Electrical Outburst counter on it.
- Blocks Movement.
- Blocks LOS (Except Assault Cannon LOS).
- Place an Electrical counter on the Power Outlet.
- Any unit directly on the Electrical counter is automatically killed.
- Any Marine unit adjacent to an Electrical Outburst is affected due to their Metallic Armour. The Stealer player rolls 1x D6 for each Affected Marine unit. That unit is killed on a 5+, or for a Librarian unit, on a 6.
- Electrical Outburst counters remain on the board for the duration of the current turn and are only removed during the Reset phase.
